Ella is so amazing. I'm probably thinking about this shoot with her today because I'm missing summer. The day of the shoot was one of the last warmer days, and I wasn't (and still am not) ready for the cold season.
What I loved about her was her classic, fresh, healthy beauty. She did not need any make-up, in fact, I think she is the most striking and authentically herself with a bare face and hair loosely tied back. The dresses we picked for her to wear, basic slip dresses in neutral colors, perfectly fit that attitude: simple, unpretentious, cool.
